[Surf] Leashless: Holes in the Map

Sometimes unplanned trips are the way to go. Without building up our expectations, we are more willing to accept inconveniences—like getting kicked out of a makeshift camping spot in the middle of the night—as opportunities. Setting out on a last-minute trip, Jen Smith, Mele Saili and Jenna Balester only had one fixed goal: make it to Tofino, B.C. for the Queen of the Peak surf competition.

In this episode of Korduroy TV’s Sea Movies presented by Reef, filmmaker Hayley Gordon shows us the ladies’ spontaneous strategy into the Pacific Northwest pays off with some fun waves and stunning scenery.
